THE CLOTH & CO. COMMUNITY
MEET KSHANIKA
At Cloth & Co., we believe that every garment has a story, and it truly comes to life when worn by our customers. By showcasing real women in our pieces, we celebrate the confidence, comfort, and joy that comes from wearing clothing crafted with purpose. These are not just clothes—they’re expressions of resilience, beauty, and individuality. Through our customers' stories, we aim to highlight how Cloth & Co. empowers women to feel connected, grounded, and effortlessly themselves in pieces designed to last and make a positive impact.
Introduce Yourself (how you want to be defined)
I like to introduce myself first by my name – Kshanika Anthony. I gave a thought about and decided I don’t want to introduce or define myself in terms of family or job. I am more than my job or social identity. I’d love to define myself in 3 concepts – heart, head, and hands. Heart because I have a big heart, I am empathetic, and compassionate. Head because I am very attracted to intellect and am very curious. Hands because I am practical, I love to experience and learn from doing.
How has this EXPERIENCE/photoshoot shifted the way you see yourself?
Five years ago, may be even two years ago, I would have been too self-conscious and said no to the photoshoot. On the day of the photoshoot, I decided I am going to be me. I am with people I respect and admire. I am going to have fun. Upon reflection, it is about my journey thus far – I feel grounded, self-confident, not worried about what others think. I feel free. Most of all, I am happy I can be myself, have a bit of fun, and not take myself so seriously. When I look at these photos, I will always be taken to that moment of fun and feeling good!
What fills your cup?
My family and friends. Feeling of freedom and not feeling boxed-in. I like to walk on the beach, run, be in the water, and travel off the beaten path. All of which have an open span.
Cloth & Co. is focused on "the power of fashion to change lives”, what does that mean to you?
For me it means to empower and to be empowered. Empowering women – buying from a women owned business and the women who makes the clothes. Feeling empowered because when I wear Cloth & Co. clothes, I feel free, joyful, comfortable, and confident.
