our story

Cloth & Co. is a contemporary fashion brand founded by mother-daughter duo Caroline and Daisy, driven by a shared commitment to social and environmental change. Born from grassroots work with women in India, the brand was created to empower communities through thoughtful design and ethical production. We work directly with women’s cooperatives, artisan groups, and small-scale certified factories to create timeless garments using 100% natural fibres—including organic cotton, linen, hemp, and premium certified wool fibres such as RWS merino and cashmere. Every piece is designed to last, with care for people, planet, and purpose at its core. From farm to stitch, our collections reflect a deep respect for craftsmanship, dignified work, and the regeneration of both community and environment.

PEOPLE

We partner with women-led communities and artisan groups to create meaningful employment, empowering individuals through skill development, financial independence, and dignity in every thread.

SUPPLIERS

At Cloth & Co., we work directly with a select group of small-scale, family-run, certified, and purpose-driven knitting and stitching units that share our uncompromising commitment to ethical and sustainable production. These deeply considered partnerships are built on mutual respect, transparency, and a shared dedication to fair work, environmental responsibility, and long-term empowerment. Every garment is a reflection of the human hands behind it — crafted with care, integrity, and purpose. It’s this grounded, relationship-led approach that defines the Cloth & Co. difference.

WOMENS COOPERATIVES

Empowering women through dignified, skilled employment is at the heart of Cloth & Co. We partner with organisations such as Women Fibre to Fashion, the Sewa Shram Shakti Foundation, Panchachuli Women Weavers, and other women's cooperatives with unique textile traditions, integrating their craftsmanship into our collections. These partnerships support survivors of trafficking and women from marginalised communities by providing safe working environments, skills training, financial literacy, and long-term employment pathways. Our approach is grassroots, intentional, and built on lasting relationships — transforming not only the lives of the women we work with, but the communities around them.

ARTISANS

Supporting artisans has a profound impact on gender equality, local economies, and the preservation of cultural heritage. Artisan crafts are rich in tradition, passed down through generations and rooted in a deep connection to place, community, and creativity. They offer meaningful alternatives to urban migration, providing fair livelihoods while sustaining cultural identity. Choosing handcrafted, small-batch products not only reduces environmental impact but also fosters a more conscious, connected way of living. In supporting artisans, we honour the value of skilled hands and help keep these important stories and traditions alive.
